What's Included, Construction, Basic Info

These TPG goggles are the pinnacle of style when it comes to airsoft.  I personally love these goggles for their looks more than anything else.  When you get them, they simply come in a plastic sleeve where you see the TPG case.  Inside the case is a flap that covers your spare lenses, a pair of clear and a pair tinted.  Pretty simple.

Feel and Comfort

The frames conform well as they are fully lined with foam padding and don’t have enough bulk to pull them tight.  They are crystal clear until you fog in twenty minutes.  Yep, I said it.  They are so cool until they make it unbearable to play.  These goggles were the reason for my switch to wire mesh goggles, but that’s another review.  However, I still use these in Close Quarters Combat, racquetball, and just for safety goggles.

Durability, Fire Test

These goggles were designed in the intention of being used for airsoft.  Thus being so, they withstand 400fps(.20g) at ten feet.   Good enough for me in the field or Close Quarters Combat.

Final Thoughts

Pros: Look good, Case included and two sets of lenses, comfortable, inexpensive.

Cons: Fog, foam padding seems to fall off after minimal usage.

I love these goggles, I just wish they wouldn’t fog.  A good buy if you aren’t interested in wire mesh or are always in a nice cool environment.
